Hi, my name is Lynette. My first experience of Deaf culture was when I was in London for the first time. I lived in the YWCA and that was the first time I was with a lot of Deaf people at the same time. It gave me the opportunity to learn about culture, community and feelings. It really inspired me and it made me feel really connected with the Deaf community.
